Registration is now open. Register for free!

Stanford Emergency Medicine Innovation Virtual Symposium (StEMI X) is dedicated to the exploration of innovation in emergency medicine.

For 2022, we focus on translational innovation - technology and research that has successfully transitioned from an innovative concept to a clinical practice that is transforming acute care.

Through robust conversations focused on the creation, integration, and dissemination of innovative tools and ideas, attendees will gain insight into leading-edge research and practices.

The symposium features:

* Nationally recognized thought-leaders speaking on the future of emergency medicine

* Dynamic interactive roundtable sessions

* Networking with visionary clinicians, executives, and tech leaders

New This Year - Pitch Competition

We are excited to launch Pitch ‘EM, a startup pitch competition to identify the next exciting new EM innovation.

  • Virtual Roundtables

    Virtual roundtable sessions will feature innovators, researchers, clinicians, and academics discussing:

    • Bench to Bedside Translation of AI/ML in Emergency Medicine

    • Where Are Healthcare Startups Making a Difference in Emergency Medicine

    • Innovative Devices in Precision Emergency Medicine

    • The Future of Precision Diagnostics in Emergency Medicine

  • Startup Pitch Competition

    New this year, Pitch ‘EM is an opportunity for early stage companies focused on acute care to pitch their innovations to venture capitalists and other healthcare stakeholders. Registrants will gain valuable insight on what it takes to bring a concept from idea to industry adoption.
